Emergency Management

Overview

The Emergency Management Division is responsible for handling emergencies such as natural disasters or hazardous incidents. It operates out of the Emergency Operations Center at the Kyle Public Safety Center, which serves as a logistics hub for distributing critical information to the public and deploying resources effectively in case of an emergency.

This division is involved in all stages of an emergency, including prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery. The Emergency Management Coordinator partners with local, state, and national agencies to assess risks and develop emergency management plans for significant events. Additionally, the Emergency Management Division offers support, tools, and resources to the community and local stakeholders.
