KYLE, TEXAS –– The City of Kyle invites the community to provide input for the Sidewalk Master Plan by participating in upcoming Open Houses or submitting comments online throughout June.

Two Sidewalk Master Plan Open Houses will be held on Thursday, June 6. The first from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Kyle City Hall, 100 W. Center St. The second from 6-8 p.m. at the Lehman High School Cafeteria, 1700 Lehman Rd.

These are come-and-go style events where residents can provide feedback on sidewalks in their neighborhoods, what they think is working, what they would like to see changed, and any other suggestions related to mobility and walkability, including ADA accessibility.

In addition to the in-person events, from June 1 through June 30 residents can submit public comments online through the Sidewalk Master Plan website by Clicking Here

The plan website includes project information, related planning documents, and two ways for the community to provide input. The first is a brief 10-minute survey to help inform sidewalk priorities in Kyle. The second is an interactive map where residents can share the routes they currently take, routes they would like to take, locations they would like to see become more walkable, and specific locations or conditions that prevent people from walking.

The Sidewalk Master Plan will address sidewalks and related pedestrian needs within the city, focusing on improving mobility and safety for pedestrians. For more information, visit https://kci.mysocialpinpoint.com/kyle-sidewalks
