Sidewalk Master Plan Open House #1

Join us for the Sidewalk Master Plan Open House on Thursday, June 6 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Kyle City Hall, 100 W. Center St. 

The Sidewalk Master Plan will address sidewalks and related pedestrian needs within the city. The plan will focus on improving mobility and safety for pedestrians. 

This is a come-and-go style event where we invite residents to provide feedback on sidewalks in their neighborhoods, what they think is working, what they would like to see changed, and any other suggestions related to mobility and walkability including ADA accessibility. 

City Staff will be at the event to answer questions, chat with community members and gather feedback.

This is the first of two Sidewalk Master Plan Open Houses scheduled for Thursday, June 6. The second takes place from 6-8 p.m. at the Lehman High School Cafeteria, 1700 Lehman Rd. 

Public comments on the Sidewalk Master Plan will be gathered from June 1 - June 30 through the Sidewalk Master Plan website at https://kci.mysocialpinpoint.com/kyle-sidewalks or can be submitted in person at the Open Houses.

The Sidewalk Master Plan website includes information on the project, related planning documents, and two ways to provide input. The first a brief 10-minute survey to help understand priorities for sidewalks in Kyle. The second, an interactive map where residents can share routes they currently take and ones they would like to take, places they would like to walk to, and any specific locations or conditions that prevent people from walking.
