The City of Kyle has awarded a contract to Archer Western to construct one of two Alliance Water take-points. Construction activities on-site have begun, beginning with the construction of a 3.5 million ground storage tank. Additional improvements will include an additional pump station, meter station, and associated equipment.

Status Updates

As of 7/2/24:

  • Geotechnical testing of 24 of 28 lifts completed. 
  • Archer Western are continuing to extend their work schedule to 7am-7pm, Monday-Friday and on Saturday 8am-3pm. 
  • Inspector and City of Kyle Project Manager trailer on site pending electrical hookup by next week. 
  • Assembly of undergroundpipe completion is currently undergoing pressure testing before being installed.
