Starting Tuesday, June 4 there will be intermittent lane closures on Heidenreich Lane from FM 150 to the Hays County Line forstreet improvements. The work being performed will consist of base failure repairs and a 2-inch asphalt overlay. Work will be done between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for up to 12 weeks.

All work is weather permitting. All residents along the affected stretch of road are asked to park vehicles in your driveway and not in the street while work is being performed. Please plan accordingly.

Drivers are asked to obey traffic warning signs, detours and watch out for heavy equipment and flaggers. At times, the driving surface may be rough.

As of 6/21/24:

  • Project Started June 3rd
  • Project Scope – Full Depth Mill and Overlay 1.31 Ln Miles from FM 150 north to County Line
  • Total to date - 1,955 LF Repaired
  • Projected Completion – End of July
  • No Major Issues to Report.  Rainfall predicted may delay the project.
