Kyle Police Department Seeks Information in Fatal Crash

KYLE, TEXAS –– On Thursday, June 6 at approximately 4:36 p.m., Kyle Police Department officers responded to reports of a major motor vehicle crash with a possible pin-in on Southbound Interstate 35 at exit 215.  

When officers arrived, they found a three-vehicle crash blocking multiple lanes of travel. IH-35 Southbound was closed to conduct an on-scene investigation. The initial investigation shows that a gray GMC Yukon, driven by 41-year-old David Mann, rear-ended a black Nissan passenger car, driven by 52-year-old Timothy Wray, and those vehicles then struck a white Toyota pickup driven by 33-year-old Matthew Dalsing.  

Mann and Wray were both transported to Ascension Seton Hays Emergency Room for injuries sustained in the crash. Wray, of Kyle, Texas, succumbed to his injuries at Ascension Seton Hays. Hays County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Beth Smith pronounced the death at the hospital and ordered an autopsy.   

The investigation into this crash is on-going. No criminal charges have been filed at this time.
