The community is invited to join the City of Kyle for the Dialogue for Peace and Progress 2024 – Celebrating Juneteenth on Thursday, June 13 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Kyle City Hall, 100 W. Center St.

Prior to the Dialogue at 6 p.m., the community is invited to join us at City Hall to see performances by the Lehman High School Varsity Mix Choir under the direction of Director Leo Garcia , a performance by Matthew "Moth" Richards with musical arrangement by Craig Hudson and a reading of Abraham Lincoln's "Emancipation Proclamation" by Griffin Johnson.

The Dialogue for Peace & Progress is an event series that works to join community members and leaders for open and honest conversations to raise awareness and, if necessary, facilitate change in the City of Kyle.

The City of Kyle has recruited a group of panelists from a multitude of perspectives and backgrounds to speak during the discussion. The Dialogue will be moderated by Council Member Miguel Zuniga, Ph.D. and Vanessa Westbrook.

The event will be held in-person at Kyle City Hall, 100 W. Center St., but other options for participation include streaming the panel online through Spectrum 10, the City’s YouTube channel or the City of Kyle's Facebook Page.
