Old Stagecoach Road Street Improvements

Starting Monday, August 5 and going until Monday, August 19 traffic will be detoured from Old Stagecoach Road from 6 Creeks Boulevard to Veterans Drive for a mill and overlay project. During construction, traffic will be detoured from 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The detours are as follows: Old Stagecoach Road to Center Street, Center Street to Veterans Drive, and Veterans Drive back to the intersection of Old Stagecoach.

The work being performed will consist of full-depth street failure repairs at multiple locations and applying a new layer of asphalt. This will be a temporary fix to make Old Stagecoach Road a safer street for the traveling public until the 2022 Road Bond reconstruction project commences.

All residents along the affected stretch of road are asked to park vehicles in your driveway and not in the street while work is being performed. Please plan accordingly. Drivers are asked to obey traffic warning signs, detours and watch out for heavy equipment and flaggers. At times, the driving surface may be rough. All work is weather permitting, in the event of inclement weather, the City of Kyle will return the next workday or when clear weather permits.
