The next Kyle Market Days & Farmers Market is September 6th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Front Street between Kyle City Hall and the Historic Train Depot. Kyle Market Days occurs on the first Saturday of each month and features live local music, artists, craftsmen and farmers products.

Kyle City Council has set a maximum tax rate for the proposed 2008-09 Annual Budget and Addendum at $.3731 per $100 of valuation. This is a increase of $.1024 over the 2008 tax rate of $.2707 and will result in an increase of approximately $12.47/month for the owner of an median priced home of $134,000. The council will be holding a series of public meetings and workshops before finalizing the budget and tax rate. |

The City of Kyle Utility Billing Department will be testing our new Phone Tree message system starting August 18th, 2008. For this month we will mail late notices on this date while testing our new system. If you have a past due balance, you will receive a “mailed” late notice, phone call, and possibly a companion email. |
